<P><BR> 【本報訊】香港有天壇大佛坐鎮東南部的大嶼山，如果在西北部的大埔多添一位摩天觀音又如何？<STRONG><FONT color=blue>城市規劃委員會昨日初步批准佛教團體在大埔洞梓興建大型佛寺申請。</FONT></STRONG>佛社構思在該處興建一座<STRONG><FONT color=black>相等於三十幾層樓高的七十六米超級觀音像，比天壇大佛高一倍。</FONT></STRONG> 記者：林志光、蔡元貴 <BR>申請興辦大型佛寺及觀音像的是香海正覺蓮社，由佛教聯合會會長覺光法師擔任社長。該佛社向城規會提出申請改變大埔洞梓一幅荒廢土地的用途，以便在該處興建佛寺及觀音像。申請人聲稱，建寺目的非為發展旅遊，純屬弘揚佛法之舉。</P>

<P><FONT color=dimgray>純為弘揚佛法</FONT><BR>擬建的佛寺名為慈山寺，內設一座佔地約九百平方米的大雄寶殿、三百三十平方米的觀音殿及六百五十平方米的法師宿舍。佛寺佔地四點六七公頃，有齋堂、停車場及佛教資源中心，最囑目的自然是一座三十幾層樓高的觀音大使青銅像。 <BR>城規會昨日審議後先行通過改變土地用途的申請，即是准許把規劃大綱圖上現址的綠色地帶及文娛康樂用地，改劃為政府?機構及社區用地。 <BR>城規會並核准該用地上建築物最高可達海拔一百三十二米，大雄寶殿最高十八米，佛舍樓面面積最多四千九百平方米。 <BR>不過，城規會拒絕一併通過佛寺及觀音像的發展，委員要求香海正覺蓮社呈交一份詳盡的發展藍圖，讓城規會再作審批。<STRONG><FONT color=black>申請人表示，慈山寺發展目的非為旅遊，純屬弘揚佛法及佛學研究。</FONT></STRONG>然而，委員仍顧慮佛寺會破壞該區的自然景觀，亦關注發展項目帶來的交通問題。 <BR>香海正覺蓮社表示，他們會擴闊附近路面。<STRONG><FONT color=black>雖然工程期間需要斬樹四百五十二棵，但佛寺建成後會重植一千一百棵樹，作為補償。擬發展用地現為一幅荒廢了的採石挖泥土地，鄰近生態重地沙螺洞山下。</FONT></STRONG></P>

<P>壽星仔Ryan過去三星期的周末都到碼頭陪父親過夜撐罷工。他昨日12歲生辰，也選擇夜宿長江中心，凌晨12時，一班工友為他慶祝生日。他中午到李嘉誠大宅外示威，許下生日願望：「李嘉誠，加人工！」本周五（26日）父親生日，他希望工潮早日結束，工人獲合理加薪，讓父親有個快樂生辰。<BR>碼頭工潮今踏入第26日，約60名碼頭工人和家屬昨午到李嘉誠於壽臣山道的大宅外示威，高呼「養起李嘉誠，養唔起家庭」。一批工友的子女則在李宅外唱歌，諷刺李嘉誠避見工人，「嘉誠爺爺，你去咗邊……快啲快啲出嚟加人工」；又在氣球寫上「家」字，並繫上「取之有道」字句，讓氣球隨風飄進李宅，告誡首富要賺錢有道，還他們一個家。李宅昨派出20多名保安員守候，部份人從長江中心調派。梁太第二次上街撐丈夫，她批評李嘉誠態度冷淡，漠視工人勞苦。她6歲的兒子浩文也支持父親罷工，「爸爸好辛苦，要快啲加人工」。 </P>

<P>堅持「一句都唔講」的李嘉誠，昨晨近7時如常到深水灣香港高爾夫球會打波，大約兩小時後離開。惟李嘉誠只坐在車廂內，向記者三度揮手示意，之後便催促司機開車離去。<BR>工人昨繼續圍堵長江中心，有團體發起讀詩會，用詩歌訴說工人苦況。碼頭業職工會今午2時將由長江中心遊行到政府總部，要求與勞工及福利局局長張建宗對話，並向工人派發第七輪生活津貼，每人1,500元。連同上周五集會和前日合共籌得約34萬元，工會估計罷工基金已累積近600萬元。<BR>工會總幹事何偉航表示，將發起連串針對長和系的抗爭行動，促李嘉誠回應工人訴求。他強調工會願意談判，但必須有機手和船上裝卸工等外判商出席，「如果真係要互讓互諒、有誠意嘅談判空間，唔該真係出嚟，唔好隔空單打或出聲明，呢啲唔係解決問題方法」。 </P>

<P>【本報訊】碼頭罷工工潮持續，無綫時事節目《新聞透視》原定本月中播出〈碼頭風雲〉報道，但卻一再臨時抽起，無綫被質疑已遭「河蟹」。有組織昨到無綫電視城外抗議，譴責無綫自我審查。<BR>約10名「調理農務蘭花系」成員昨早帶同橫額及西蘭花，在無綫電視城外高叫口號，批評新聞部被赤化及河蟹。 </P>

<P>矛頭直指新聞部總監</P>
<P>示威者將矛頭直指無綫新聞部總監袁志偉，表示要將爛西蘭花送給袁志偉，又叫口號譴責他。到場聲援的作家林匡正稱，傳媒應為民發聲，認為《新聞透視》現已變成《新聞弱視》，要求政府盡快批出新的免費電視牌照。<BR>《新聞透視》原定本月13日播出〈碼頭風雲〉，但有指因為無綫管理層不滿內容沒工聯會聲音，節目被抽起。無綫曾表示節目前晚（20日）播出，但最後指會在工潮結束後始播出。<BR></P>
