I don't live in earthquake-prone area. But it must be very scary, especially if you are in the city near the high-rise building when it occurred.
I have "my own earthquake" since the first week of January, driving on the highway alone to work. It's a scary experience, not for the faint-hearted. I'm still gettting to used to working in the suburb. The co-worker who lives near my home smokes. I can smell her cigarette stink from at least 2 feet away. I am not sure if I really want to ask her to car-pool with me, her cigarette stink is too strong.
