DAVID and Victoria Beckham are splashing out £350,000 on a trendy feng shui makeover to bring peace and harmony into their lives.
They are filling their Madrid villa with exotic Oriental furniture, wind chimes and bamboo flutes designed to create happiness through "positive energy".
A source close to the couple said: "They are really into the whole Far East mysticism thing. Victoria wants to furnish their home with Chinese-style sofas, chairs, lighting, mirrors and loads of exotic plants.
"They've had a tough time since moving to Spain and they see the new-style home as a fresh start. Devotees of feng shui - literally "wind and water" - believe that mirrors, wind chimes and crystals can deflect bad luck.
And that the right arrangement of certain furniture can encourage the free flow of positive energy.
The insider quipped: "By the time the Beckhams have finished the furniture will be better placed than one of David's famous free-kicks."
