Hi, This is response to the 9th Floor Master. Thank you for your concern. I am a Cantonese , raised up in HongKong in the 1950's, immigrated to Canada in 1972. Therefore I understand Cantonese and am used to the Cantonese pinyin of Chinese characters but not familiar with the Romanization pinyin of Mainland China although I have pinyin softwares like NJStar and Chinapro. I am still having difficulty with pinyin. My best bet is a software with a writing pad like what Rainbow suggested. I decided to measure the tree the other day and found it was about 27 feet from my house. The tree I believed was planted in 1978 when the house was first built by developers. True. It is very sad to get destroyed in my hands. We moved into the house in 1989. I searched a number of Feng-shui books I have and found only a few references concerning trees, not much. The best thing to do seems to cut it down. Thanks again to everybody. Gratia.
Try to learn Pinyin or buy Chinese Pen / writing board, it's more efficient and accurate if the question is phrased in your own words.

Hi, Rainbow, Sorry that I did not explain the problem well. The thing is that the tree is , I believe, within ten feet of the house. It is well known from Chinese geomancy that if you have a dying tree in your yard, this implies people will be sick or suffering from some mishaps. My question is this. If I pull the tree down, will there be any ill consequences please? Thank you very much..
