I am certain that he possesses many great qualities as a teacher. But we are all human. Perhaps this is a cultural issue, I never have any problems telling my bosses or superiors (all brought up in Western culture) that I disagree with them provided that I have evidence and support for my thoughts. They don't see it as an act of disrespect, because they know that "the truth" is bigger than any one single person.

I have noticed that the weather in America in September and the first week of October were unseasonally warm. The Global Warming factor need to be considered as well.
The October Heat Wave Updated: Monday, October 08, 2007 2:46 PM
The exceptional warmth this month is certainly not as dramatic as a big hurricane, yet it is every bit as, and perhaps even more, extreme. I have lived in the Northeast my entire life and have never seen anything like it. Warm days always show up in October, but the way this heat wave has persisted is uncanny. Most locations from the Mississippi Valley to the Eastern Seaboard have experienced daily highs in the 80s, and from western Kentucky to Texas there have been numerous 90s. The heat has been caused by the abnormally far north position of the jet stream over eastern North America. This has given tropical warmth easy access to all of the Central and Eastern states.
Below is a map of the actual temperature departures so far this month. The large area that has experienced temperatures more than 10 degrees above normal is unreal.
