Google 和 CBS 電視想透過 iPod,  Comcast's on-demand service 和 其他新科技, 賣電視廣播部分節目。 Comcast 是 付費有線電視 (cable TV) , CBS 是 免費電視, 但是, 問題是， 1) 多少人願意在一個微小的 iPod 螢幕上看 免費 CBS 電視節目? 2) CBS 是免費電視, 可以 設定 VCR 或  TiVo 錄影很多小時的電視節目.
