So to be a ¡¥real¡¦ mundaner it becomes necessary to do a bit of research concerning these cycles and what kind of influences they have had in the past, and what kind of history precedes us. This is not something that we can really go into deeply here, but we must spend a little time on them, and in considering any mundane chart it is always wise to be aware of which phases we are in at a given moment in time.R?Bt ©½t¥Í³N¼Æ¬ã¨sªÀ -- ³N¼Æ¬ã¨s¡@¡@ GToA+ Everyone is familiar with the cycles of the seasons, and in a similar way planetary cycles start with the seeding of an idea or concept through all of the phases, until hopefully it come to fruition, then decay, and then we start all over again. But every cycle which you study will go through phases similar to those which the Moon goes through every month; that is the waxing phase beginning at the conjunction until the quarter (the square), which is a kind of crisis point, then to the oppositional difficulties, and then into the waning phases where the idea is challenged at the square, consolidates into society at the close of the cycle, or dies, tries again, or moves on to something new. The waxing phase begins, of course, with the conjunction; and the conjunctions of the outer planets are called Great Conjunctions. There are ten major planetary Great Conjunctions which are made by the five outer planets - Jupiter through Pluto. I will briefly outline the mundane principles of these outer planets here, because you will need to know them even if you pay no attention to their cycles:: ©½t¥Í³N¼Æ¬ã¨sªÀ -- ³N¼Æ¬ã¨s¡@¡@ cCf"5 Jupiter: Globally, Jupiter is about tolerance/intolerance, liberalism, a strong sense of morality, paternalism, benevolence, optimism, imperialistic attitudes, feelings of superiority, social awareness, and the capitalistic force in finance and trade relations. It governs borders between countries and treaties between nations._\ ©½t¥Í³N¼Æ¬ã¨sªÀ -- ³N¼Æ¬ã¨s¡@¡@ I#x In a national chart Jupiter rules religion, the clergy, judges and the high courts, the laws of the land, credit institutions and bankers, all ruling bodies that ratify treaties, how diplomatic and trade relations are developed. The Senate, the Politburo, the Diet, Knesset, House of Lords and other national equivalents are all ruled by Jupiter.J0mZf ©½t¥Í³N¼Æ¬ã¨sªÀ -- ³N¼Æ¬ã¨s¡@¡@ \<r8 In an Ingress, Lunation or Eclipse chart, Jupiter¡¦s good aspects promote peace, indicate increase or gain, and lead to the establishment of diplomatic relations or ambassadorial missions. An afflicted Jupiter can bring an overabundance of natural elements, religious suppression, international crises, border disputes, import or export problems.r] ©½t¥Í³N¼Æ¬ã¨sªÀ -- ³N¼Æ¬ã¨s¡@¡@ { Saturn: Globally Saturn seeks control, order and structure, material security, imposition of law, and can be intolerant, extremist and isolationist. In a national chart it rules senior citizens, landowners, farmers, and miners. It denotes quarries, mines and the land in general. In a business sense it governs the Stock Exchanges. Saturn rules corporations, state-run businesses, law enforcement agencies, monopolies, heavy industry and conglomerates.
