in my point of veiw, the only way to fully understand the investment principle of warran buffett are to read benjamin and philip fisher's books. their ideas of security analysis are the foundation of buffetology. for the individual investors, long term investment is not suitable. because long term investment should have a good understanding of the whole company which we are going to analysis. i think one or two years investment is suitable to the investors who has relatively less money. the investors can have the compound interests.benefit when they are doing reinvestment.
