Spirulina is good for its strong alkalinity (can "clean" blood), all essential amino acids for human. it's also rich in trace elements. (ppl suffer from such nutritional deficiency would need it)
however, one can benefits from diverse vegies and fruits too.
can tell whether it'd be good for your relatives different ppl need different food food good for someone doesn't necessarily good for another too. and the "nature" of Spirulina is "cold" <-----chinese medicine concept
Spirulina in powder form is the most economical besides, tablets are better than capsules
actually, i don't believe in panacea disease is a consequence of habits which violates nature one is the doctor and medicine for oneself
