確實，《霸王別姬》(Farewell My Concubine) 這部電影很好, 是我最喜歡之一的電影。

另外, 第83名: Hilary Swank as Brandon Teena in Boys Don't Cry (1999) (這部電影 "Boys Don't Cry" Hilary Swank 演出很好, 角色是非常難演, 她真正真正值得拿奧斯卡 Best Actress 獎.

【星島網訊】美國最新一期權威電影雜誌《首映》選出了電影史上100位傑出演員，鞏俐以《霸王別姬》入選，名列第89名，成為惟一上榜的華裔演員。

據悉在美國權威雜誌《首映》選出的電影史上100位傑出演員中，鞏俐憑《霸王別姬》一片名列第89名，超過了第91名《柳巷芳草》簡·方達，及第92名《緊急追捕令》克林特·伊斯特伍德。此外，她還是惟一位上榜的華裔演員。

《首映》雜誌認為，《霸王別姬》雖然類似《斷背山》，同樣講的是兩個男人的愛情故事，但因為有了鞏俐演的菊仙，她對“情敵”程蝶衣的感情從輕蔑、尊敬、到相濡以沫，這不僅是中國影史數十年來最動人的三角愛情關係，更是超越片中男演員的絕佳演出。 </pre>
